Nose: The darkest rich caramel oak hits hard and fast. Pancakes with syrup and dusty wood notes. Luxurious dark chocolate and lingonberry dusted with sugar. Heavy char and confectioner sugar. Palate: Woah that’s sweet. Fruit tart covered in grade b maple syrup. A big dose of heavy cream. Strong dusty varnish style note. Oreo frosting. A massive backbone of oak. One of the sweetest yet oakiest whiskeys I’ve had. Finish: Slice of white cake. Of course oak continues to be a strong flavor along with a dusty barrel aged syrup. Caramel iced coffee. Strong Kentucky hug. Settles into a Coca Cola coffee flavor.
